Star Quest
Star Quest is a dance competition that I am at this weekend. It is a lot of fun. I won second overall for my solo and best contemporary solo. I also got a platinum-plus. All four of my group dances got platinum, and we won second, and we also won third. We also won a special award for lots of different levels, because there was a lot of stuff on the floor, and because I was lifted in the air. It is very fun and we are doing a good job.

David The Slug!
David the slug is a fictional slug that I have created. His girlfriend is Selena the slug, and his ex-girlfriend is Marissa the slug. His younger brother Herbert is now dating Marissa, and their cousin is a sea hare. Their cousin the sea hare is engaged to Shannon the sea hare, but Shannon is cheating on him with Steve the sea cucumber, who is a horrible sea slug, and so is his brother Bill. That is David the slug and his dramatic family and their stories.

Portfolio
Portfolio, portfolio, oh the dreaded portfolio
They say it’ll help you think and grow,
But when someone says its name, everyone thinks NO!
I would rather cut off all my toes,
Then have to do even more portfolio.
It helps us reflect on ourselves, I know,
But still it takes a quite a show,

To live through that portfolio.

I Thought I Would Die

One time, in fourth grade, I was climbing in a friend’s playground/tree house/jungle gym/swing set. She specifically told me not to use the rope on the climbing wall, because it was not very strong. I laughed and thought, whatever. I pulled on it, and it was fun, so started to climb. But even though I normally climb without using any ropes, I was leaning all the way back, holding onto the rope, with only my feet on the climbing wall, just to make a point. I got to the top, and made a remark on how I was fine. Then I leaned back and… snap. The rope broke and I fell from the top of the playground/tree house/jungle gym/swing set. I remember lying on my back and screaming, wondering if I would die. It turned out I just bruised a rib, and know I am terrified of heights.

A War with our Neighbors

We have some neighbors that just moved in this year. They are very mysterious, and they never show their faces. Recently, while my sister and I were home alone, our parents called asking if Ginger, our dog, was outside barking. We responded with the truth that she’d only been out for a few minutes. When they got home they told us how our mystery neighbors had posted a complaint on Facebook that was sent to everyone else that lived around our little pocket park. It was about Ginger barking, and apparently other neighbors had been complaining too. We asked our other neighbors, and they had not been complaining. My dad sent a passive aggressive email to her to contact us directly next time, but she just sent a rude email back. We are now at war with our neighbors.

The Emu Farm
I was studying Kiwi Birds, so they took me to an Emu Farm.
It was raining a ton, so they took me into their barn.
We talked and introduced ourselves then went to see the emus,
Inside of their enclosure I yelled EW!
For the whole entire enclosure was full of Emu poo,
And I got mud and poo all over my shoes,
The wrangler grabbed their backs so we could get through,
And pet there feathers which were soft like a shrew,
Then we went to the garage away from the Emus,
And looked at the Emu eggs which were a pretty blue,
Then went inside for hot coco were I gave the wrangler an interview,

That is the tale about the farm of Emus!

The Mistake
Today we got take out from Panera. I wanted to get the Tomato Mozzarella Flatbread, so I let my parents order while I went to fill my fountain drink. When we got home, I heard an uh-oh from the kitchen. I ran in and saw that my mom had accidently gotten me a chicken sandwich. It was the end of the world; I didn’t want a chicken sandwich! But luckily I was able to get some miso soup instead. But my mom has learned her lesson which is to be careful what she orders, and I have learned to keep a closer eye on my mom.
